ICHIMONJI.
Ichimonji is the only Zanpakutō whose identity is inseparable from calligraphy. Wielded by Ichibē Hyōsube, its power manifests through ink, names, and the authority they carry. The artwork draws from traditional Japanese brushwork, combining expressive strokes with a restrained monochrome editorial aesthetic.
A single crimson mark interrupts the composition, echoing the moment ink becomes power. More than an illustration, the piece functions as an archive specimen — a study of calligraphy, symbolism, and the act of naming itself.
