AUTHENTICATE
Every unit shipped from the archive carries a hand-stamped serial in the format RR · NNN — release number, then unit number. File it below and the foreman matches it against the shipped manifest by hand.
FILE A lookup.
THE PAPER is the proof.
Every unit is shipped with a paper certificate — wax-sealed, hand-stamped, signed by the foreman of the day. The serial on the certificate matches the serial pressed into the garment. If the two do not match, the unit is counterfeit and the archive will refuse to authenticate it.

FOUR questions.
MY SERIAL IS NOT IN THE CATALOGUE. IS MY UNIT FAKE?
Not necessarily. The lookup form above only matches against the active drop catalogue. Past-release units (releases 01 — 03, all sealed) are filed off-site. Submit the serial anyway — the foreman will reply within 48 h with the shipped manifest record.
THE WAX SEAL BROKE IN TRANSIT. DOES THAT VOID THE CERTIFICATE?
No. A single break on arrival is expected; the certificate is still authentic. Photograph the broken seal as-found and email [email protected] with the file number. Re-sealing services are available on appointment in Tokyo.
CAN I TRANSFER MY CERTIFICATE TO A NEW OWNER?
Yes, but the archive must register the transfer. Email the original buyer's name, the new owner's name, and a photograph of the certificate (front and back) to [email protected]. The unit is then re-filed under the new name within 7 days.
WHAT DO I DO IF I BOUGHT A UNIT SECOND-HAND AND THE SERIAL DOES NOT VERIFY?
Stop. Do not pay or ship anything to the seller. Email [email protected] with the serial, the certificate photograph, and any sale receipt. The archive will compare against the shipped manifest and reply with a verdict. Counterfeit units are never authenticated, regardless of provenance.
